Welcome to Team Real Lacrosse Club website!

Club Description:

Team Real Lacrosse Club was created in the Fall of 2010 and is based in Portsmouth, RI. We are a year-round lacrosse program servicing players from the lower New England area to include RI, MA and CT. Experienced and committed coaching is provided for all levels of play (beginners to advanced players). For the more advanced players, Team Real participates in national/local tournaments to provide college recruiting exposure.

Team Real Lacrosse Club is committed to providing players the opportunity to improve their knowledge of the game, their individual stick skills, and their mental and physical toughness while building team cohesion. Commitment to becoming the best player you can possibly be will make the difference in achieving your goals.

* 20 MAY Practice: Practice is TBD! Please come to practices wearing layers since it can be a little breezy down at the field. Don't forget your filled water bottles. Keep checking the website for updates.

* Congratulations to Coach KK Villareal for being selected to the 2013 Synapse Sports All-America All-Rookie Squad (a 16 member team of DII freshmen lacrosse players). Earlier this month, she was named to the 2013 Northeast-10 2nd Team All-Conference Team and the 2013 Northeast-10 All-Rookie Team. She started all 17 games for the Saint Anselm College Hawks and ended the season with 44 points (37 goals, 7 assists), 24 ground balls and 24 draw controls.

* Registration is now OPEN for the Girls Youth & HS Summer Sessions. Additional information can be found on the "Practice Sessions" and "Registration Info" pages of this website. You do not have to be a previous TRL player to participate in the sessions. Please contact Coach Bill if you are planning to participate in the sessions.

* PRIVATE LESSONS are also available. Please contact Coach Bill Villareal if interested.

* Congratulations to Coach Bill for being named the Head Coach for the 2013 Brine New England HS Girls Underclassmen All-American team! The All-American team will play in the 2013 National Lacrosse Classic in MD next summer. Coach Bill has been the Head Coach of the New England All-American team for the last 3 years. For all HS players, tryouts for the New England All-American team are being held on Sunday, 02JUN.
